Learn proper touch, technique’s, area’s to avoid and benefits of massage
therapy for the elderly and ill.
Everyone can then help with alleviating pain, discomfort and anxiety.
All participants receive a note book containing the information covered in
the workshop.

Facility Workshop
Get together the care workers at your facility for the elderly and ill. Staff
learn in an interactive enviroment when and how to gently massage the patients
they work with. As well as benefits and contra indications for Nurture
Massage

The length and scope of these sessions can be tailored the needs of your
facility and the amount of time staff has to attend seminars.
Seminars
As parents and other elderly loved ones become increasingly frail and
communication becomes difficult the power of nurturing touch can bring
contentment and comfort, both to the recipient and the giver.
Increasing frailty can sometimes make giving nurturing touch imposing. Skin
is increasingly thin, mobility is limited, and memory may be faulty. Nurture
touch seminars ease the embarrassment and discomfort of providing nurturing
touch to our loved ones.
Each seminar is targeted towards the pathology of the client. Alzheimers,
arthritis, parkinsons, multiple sclerosis and many other deceases all have their
own methods of treatment that contribute to the well-being of the elderly and
ill.
